FAF president Zefizef wants to win the U17 Africa Cup of Nations
Algeria FA president Djahid Zefizef held a meeting with the Algeria U17 national team coach Arezki Remane, who presented his program for the next two months ahead of April’s U17 Africa Cup of Nations, which Algeria will be hosting.
During the meeting, Zefizef set the objectives of the U17 national team for the upcoming tournament: “Firstly, it’s to qualify to the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru, and secondly, to win the 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations.” Zefizef also added that the FA has made it its priority to assist the U17 national team in achieving those objectives.
Remane also announced that Algeria will host a 4-team tournament in March in preparation for the African Cup. The tournament will take place in Algiers from March 20th to March 29th.
